The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, Inc., JDC, is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, contributions to which are deductible for federal income tax.
Right now, JDC is working to provide immediate humanitarian aid – food, hygiene kits, blankets and more – to victims of the magnitude-7.7 earthquake and aftershocks that struck Myanmar, killing hundreds of people and injuring thousands more.
